20 years on from its release, My Chemical Romance’s ‘The Black Parade’ has finally hit the top of the UK Albums Chart, according to the Official Charts Company.

The album is now officially the band’s to hit the top of the charts in the UK, with 2004’s ‘Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge’ hitting No.09 and 2010’s ‘Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys’ hitting No.02 as recently as July this year thanks to its own reissue.
The band brought their ‘”Long Live” The Black Parade’ tour to a close last weekend, and are due to play two very special shows in Los Angeles tonight and tomorrow, October 30 & 31, taking place once again at the Hollywood Bowl with support coming from The Used and Thrice respectively.
They have also just released a new collaboration with Lauren Tsai, a stop-motion short film titled ‘A Prelude To The End’:
