My Chemical Romance have worked alongside Lauren Tsai to produce ‘Prelude To The End’, a gorgeous new animated short film, all based around their track ‘The End.’.

‘Prelude To The End’ follows a girl called Astrid, who appears in Lauren’s other work ‘The Dying World’, who attends the Paper Academy and is constantly being told there is something wrong with her.

This results in a trip into the pitch-black unknown, and an encounter with a massive crow, all soundtracked by the opening song from MCR’s classic album ‘The Black Parade’.

It is macabre, dark, mysterious and absolutely beautiful. A sensational piece of unique art that brings together two worlds as one.

Oh, and if that wasn’t enough, it also features voice acting from Phoebe Bridgers, Billie Eilish and Hideo Kojima. Wow.
